Photostability Chamber--Stability Testing Equipment for Simulated Environmental Testing
With the rapid development of renewable energy, photovoltaic modules are the core components of solar power generation, and their stability and performance reliability have become the key to industrial development. In order to evaluate the performance of photovoltaic modules under different environmental conditions, the International Electrotechnical Commission IEC has developed a series of international test standards. As an important testing equipment, the Photostability Chamber from Millennial Solar can simulate light attenuation under different environmental conditions, providing reliable environmental simulation for stability testing of photovoltaic modules.
Photovoltaic module stability test
Photovoltaic modules are the core components that convert solar energy into electrical energy. Their quality and performance directly affect the efficiency and reliability of photovoltaic power generation systems. The photoelectric conversion efficiency, durability and stability of photovoltaic modules are important indicators for evaluating their performance. In order to ensure that photovoltaic modules can operate stably and have long-term reliability in practical applications, a series of tests and evaluations are required.
Stability testing is an important means to evaluate the long-term performance and reliability of photovoltaic modules. As a key equipment for stability testing, the Photostability Chamber can simulate the performance changes of photovoltaic modules under different environmental conditions. By exposing photovoltaic modules to different lighting conditions for a certain period of time in the Photostability Chamber, its light decay characteristics, stability of photoelectric conversion efficiency, and durability can be evaluated.
IEC and BBA standards
The International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) is an authoritative international organization that formulates electrical, electronic and related technical standards. IEC has developed a series of standards for the performance and reliability of photovoltaic modules, including light decay testing. These standards ensure the performance consistency and reliability of photovoltaic modules under different environmental conditions, and provide technical support and guarantee for the development of the photovoltaic industry. BBA is the abbreviation of Bundesverband Solarwirtschaft e.V., an organization representing the German solar industry. Both standards put forward specific requirements and specifications for the optical performance, temperature performance, testing methods, etc. of photovoltaic module photostability chamber. The Photostability Chamber from Millennial Solar meets the stability test specified in the MQT09 and MQT19 provisions of the IEC61215 standard. The light spot area reaches 1200*1000mm, and the spectrum meets the BBA standard.

Introduction:
Photostability Chamber uses a xenon arc lamp that can simulate the full sunlight spectrum to reproduce destructive light waves that exist in different environments. It can provide corresponding environmental simulation and accelerated testing for photovoltaic cell product development and quality control.
Fulfill the standard:
It meets the stability test specified in the MQT09 and MQT19 provisions of the IEC61215 standard. The light spot area reaches 1200*1000mm, and the spectrum meets the BBA standard.
Features:
It can be used for change tests to improve the existing process of cells or to evaluate the durability of cells after changes in composition. It can well simulate the changes caused by exposure of cells to sunlight under different environmental conditions.
•Spectral mismatch, irradiation non-uniformity and irradiation instability must meet at least BBA level standards
•Irradiance range reaches 700~1100W/m²
•Irradiation area reaches 1200*1000mm
•Touch screen control, can set temperature, running time, cumulative radiation intensity parameters
Photovoltaic module Photostability Chamber is an important photovoltaic testing equipment that can simulate and test the performance changes of photovoltaic modules under light conditions and evaluate their stability and reliability. Photovoltaic module Photostability Chamber should comply with the requirements of international standards IEC or BBA standards to ensure the accuracy and credibility of the test. Using the Photostability Chamber from Millennial Solar for stability testing can evaluate the long-term performance and reliability of photovoltaic modules in practical applications, providing technical support and guarantee for the development of the photovoltaic industry.
