Compared with non-contact eddy current measurement, the four-probe technology has higher resolution, good accuracy, long-term stability and wider measurement range. Non-contact eddy current measurements combine the sheet resistivity of the substrate with the resistivity of the surface layer and result in uncertainty.
Because the probe is spring-loaded, the probe compresses as the sample rises into the probe, creating a constant contact force.

Data collection visualization

Millennial Smart FPP software combines data collection and powerful analysis functions with an intuitive visual interface that can be used on the device itself or offline.
As shown in the figure, Smart FPP can display measurement results in 2D or 3D form to quickly visualize key film uniformity data. The software can easily switch between individual measurement parameter profiles and rotatable 3D plots to provide an optimal view of custom process parameters.
